ACTOR & SINGER

Kurt’s first engagement into theatre was when he was approached in the spring of 2017 regarding playing the role of Older Billy in the local Kelowna Actors Studio’s (KAS) production of Billy Elliot. Since joining on, Kurt hasn’t looked back since and makes every effort to maintain engagement in theatre during the summer months in addition to taking vocal lessons. He has also gained experience working back stage as a crew member and as an assistant stage manager on other KAS productions. The following summer, he performed in KAS’ production of Mamma Mia, where he played the young and flirtatious bartender, Pepper. Most recently, he made his debut with New Vintage Theatre in their production of Cabaret, where he was the choreographer along with playing the role of Bobby.
